The biggest film festival in China (its only serious competitor in your community could be the Beijing Film Festival), which starts annually at the begining of summer. The scope of events within the SIFF Mart (film market and pitching) and SIFFORUM (lectures, seminars, round tables, master classes) may be assessed with the figures supplied by the organizers. According directly to them, in 2013, 819 companies entered the film market (42% from abroad), and 244 applications were submitted for pitching, 29 of that have been shortlisted and in the end received financial support.
Moscow IFF
Moscow, Russia / founded in 1935
MIFF, one of several oldest film festivals on the globe, has become held annually at the conclusion of June.
