Next, find a supplier by going to online retail service AliExpress - China's version of eBay - and searching for the product you wish to sell. Mr Delchau-Jones recommends vetting the supplier to ensure you are working with someone you can trust. 'It is very crucial in dropshipping to connect with a supplier. If we weren't able to get the product we weren't able to run the business,' he said. 'The ultimate goal is to get the supplier's WhatsApp number and make sure you have constant line of communication so you know what is happening with your product.' Once a supply chain is organised, you can begin building a website using a platform such as Shopify, which has easy-to-use templates. The supplier will provide images of the product to share on the website, but Mr Delchau recommends having the order sent to you first to inspect its quality, which also gives you the option to take your own.
